Producer Grant Turck has signed on to develop late Author Shepherd Mead’s satirical
How to Succeed with Women Without Really Trying
guidebook How to Succeed with Women Without Really Trying into a feature. Turck eyes Women as the first in a film franchise utilizing Mead’s iconic “How to…Without Really Trying” book series.

“Brand recognition is a key ingredient to box office success. Since the audience already knows the brand its less expensive to market and easier to explain to potential theatergoers,” said Turck.

Published in 1957 by Ballantine Books How To Succeed With Women Without Really Trying is an ageless primer on how men can meet and woo women. The book apes the structure and tone of Mead’s popular 1952 work How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying that inspired the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical. Since first opening on Broadway in 1961 Business has been seen by over 100 million people worldwide.

In addition to Women other titles by Mead include How to Live Like a Lord Without Really Trying, How to Get Rich in TV Without Really Trying, How to Stay Medium-Young Practically Forever Without Really Trying, and How to Succeed in Tennis Without Really Trying. Most titles are available as eBooks and audiobooks online at Amazon or Audible.
